God's Wisdom

Romans 11:33-36    NIV

33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[a] knowledge of God!
    How unsearchable his judgments,
    and his paths beyond tracing out!
34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord?
    Or who has been his counselor?”[
b]
35 “Who has ever given to God,
    that God should repay them?”[
c]
36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.
    To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Why do so many people question, or doubt God? Why do so many not believe that He is real?

It is a mystery with no explanation, except that Satan has blinded their eyes.

When we take the time to look around us, we see the wisdom and knowledge of God.

It isn’t necessary in this lesson to list all the wonders of the physical world. We see them and know them. Everyone understands the miracle of the birth of a chi

However, one thought always comes to my mind when I think of the power and majesty of God and how we see it.

We are microscopic in comparison to the vast infinite universe.

We are like grains of sand in this infinite universe, living on a very small round “ball” that is rotating on its axis, at the speed of approximately 1,000 miles per hour.

As the earth rotates or turns on its axis at 1,000 miles per hour, it is also hurtling through space at the speed of 66,627 miles per hour.

So, let this sink in please. We are rotating/turning at 1k mph, while hurtling through space at 66.6K mph. Has it sunk in yet?

We know how fast it feels to go 70 mph or 100 mph, so it is impossible to imagine that we are on a rotating ball that is rotating at approximately 1,000 miles per hour, while at the same time, hurtling through space at 66,627 miles per hour.

Yet this is what we are experiencing, every second of every day.

Talk about the universe’s greatest roller coaster ride.

You would think that we would simply “fall off”, wouldn’t you?

However, God implemented the necessary physical laws, one being gravity, that allow us to experience life on earth and yet, not really know the extent of what we are experiencing.

The Wisdom of The Cross

Wisdom of the cross

We are thankful for the Cross and God's wisdom in providing a way for us to become His children.

Colossians 2:2-3   NIV

2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.

In God's wisdom, He made a way for His love to reconcile us to Him, while not compromising His holiness and righteousness.

His love

Meditate on this for a minute and then let us praise God and exclaim 33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[a] knowledge of God!

All Things Come From God

The Psalmist goes on to say that WE cannot know the mind of God. Unfortunately, some tend to think they fully understand the mind of God and His ways, but it truly is beyond the ability of mankind to know. As we like to say, definitely above our pay grade.

There is absolutely no comparison between God's wisdom and mankind's wisdom and what wisdom we do have, comes from God.

The Psalmist then closes the Psalm saying that ALL things that have been created are FROM Him, THROUGH Him and FOR Him.

 Everything we see;

Everything we know;

Everything that Scientists discover;

Every advancement in medicine;

ALL things come FROM Him, THROUGH HIM and are FOR Him, as He provides for us.

To that, we all should exclaim “GLORY BE HIS NAME, FOREVER.”
