Philippians 4:6    New International Version

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.

Psalm 54:2    New International Version

Hear my prayer, O God;
listen to the words of my mouth.

Radio was the first electronic “mass medium” technology and the first radio news program was broadcast on August 31, 1920 by station 8MK in Detroit, Michigan.

Depending on your age, imagine how you grandparents, great-grandparents or great great-grandparents might have felt when they turned on their radio for the first time and heard people talking to them.

It probably felt both exciting, unreal and strange at first, as they could hear the news, weather and entertaining programs through the magic of radio and radio waves.

Imagine how they felt to have voices coming through the air and out of that box sitting in their living room.

We Have A Wireless Connection With God

Our Wireless Connection

Christians have an ultra-high frequency range at their disposal at all times.

We can talk to God day or night and don’t need a tower, receiver or transmitter. We simply need to humble ourselves before Him and speak to Him as our Heavenly Father.

Per the words of Jesus, “Our Father which art in Heaven” is a good way to start.

He hears us as the frequency range is never too busy or down.

Like those before us who were amazed at the radio, we should never stop being amazed at what our prayers can do.

Prayer connects us with God

Let us never underestimate the power of our prayers.

God hears us. God wants us to open our hearts to Him in praise and thanksgiving. He wants us to bring our problems and trials to Him.

If we are asking for something that is according to His will, He will grant it as He wants what is best for us.

1 John 5:14   New International Version

14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us.

When is the last time you used your wireless connection with God? Is prayer a vital part of each day? Do you take your problems to Him? Do you thank and praise Him daily?

1 John 5:13-15   New International Version

13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

God wants to hear from you. He is only a prayer away.
